The guarantee

If it was not worth it, you do not pay for it.

Nobody enjoys asking for their money back, so this page is written to make it as easy as I can. No form to argue with, no conditions buried three clicks down.

In one sentence

Have your first lesson. If you do not think it was worth the money, tell me — on the court, or here within 14 days — and you pay nothing.

Lessons on court

Your first lesson with me is covered in full. Finish it, and if you do not think it was worth the money, tell me on the court or claim it on this site within 14 days. You pay nothing, and if you have already paid I send it back that week.

I am not going to ask you to justify it. If you did not get value out of an hour with me, that is my problem to fix, not yours to argue.

After the first one you have seen exactly what you are buying, so the blanket refund stops there. A later lesson that genuinely misses still gets put right - tell me and I will either refund it or teach it again for nothing, whichever suits you.

Video analysis

Video analysis is covered the same way. If the review comes back and it has not given you at least one thing you can actually go and work on, tell me within 14 days and I refund the whole amount.

You keep the video and the notes either way. Taking them back would not make either of us better off.

How to claim

1

Say so

On the court is best — I would rather fix it there and then. Otherwise use the form, or ring me. All three end up in the same place.

2

I read it

It goes straight to my phone. I will not ask you to justify it or fill anything else in.

3

Money back

However you paid me, that is how it comes back, usually the same week. If you would rather have the lesson again instead, say so.

The small print, which is genuinely small

One claim per student on the first-lesson guarantee. It covers what you paid me for coaching, and it cannot cover things I never charged you for - court fees, balls, or the drive.

A lesson nobody turned up for is not a lesson that disappointed you, so no-shows are outside this. So is a lesson called off for weather, which is simply rebooked and never charged.

Why I can afford to offer this. Hardly anybody claims it, because the lesson is usually fine. What it really does is take the risk out of the first booking, which is the only part that was ever risky. If I am wrong about that, you get your money back and I learn something.
Nothing to lose

Book the first one and find out

Pick a time that suits you. Pay after the lesson, and only if it was worth it.
